He’s indoor-outdoor. In the daytime he usually likes being outside whether I’m home or not, except when it’s raining. He hates getting wet.

I ask because I live in an apartment and was wondering if I could get away with having a dog of that size. How many pounds is he? I might have to get a female because they won’t be a huge 80 lb. bottomless food pit...

He’s around 85 pounds. A little larger than normal. He was a rescue, so I don’t know how small his litter was, or if something happened when he was a puppy that made him not like water. The only time he’ll get in the water is when I take him to the park on a warm day and he gets hot. He’ll jump in the river up to his belly in that case, but when it’s raining like it has been he’ll stay on the back porch when I let him out.
